James E. Santomauro

James E. Santomauro, Esq. is a Partner who has been with the firm since December 2013.  Mr. Santomauro practices in the defense of New Jersey Workers’ Compensation claims on behalf of employers, self-insured companies, third party administrators and insurance carriers.  The scope of Mr. Santomauro’s representation involves all aspects of litigation, from initial discovery through trial and appeal.  He also has experience litigating civil cases, including personal injury claims and landlord-tenant matters, before arbitration panels of the Pennsylvania Courts of Common Pleas.  Mr. Santomauro also has extensive appellate experience, having briefed and argued numerous cases in both the New Jersey Appellate Division and New Jersey Supreme Court.

In addition, Mr. Santomauro regularly gives lectures and writes litigation updates on topics in the areas of Workers’ Compensation and insurance defense for various organizations, including the North Jersey Claims Association and New Jersey Self-Insurers Association.
